Watched Virgin maestro Sir Richard Branson on the news today talking about the current financial crash. One thing that he was critical of was governments bolstering 'dead' industries with billions of tax payers monies and would much prefer it was spent on fledgling companies.

His case in point was the car industry, where he argues the need to keep an industry that hasn't changed with the times, or made inroads into developing cleaner vehicles. Let them die, or at least slim down to a logical state and spend the money on hybrid or electric variations.

But dont stop there, what this country needs is a good spring clean. Get rid of the loss making industries, develop inovation, reinvent the Victorian age where this country lead and others followed.

Long live the revolution.
