Time to remember that endless consumption of cheap plastic or polyester tat from China is no substitute for true happiness, which I find comes from much more basic things - company of friends, country walks, community events etc.

I is technically //poor//! ok so my outgoings are minimal and have been brought up to be super thrifty and tightfisted, so even tho my wages are in the uber crappo region I actually have a couple of hundred quid spare every month, good thing too!
